Kundapur, Mar 11: In an incident that occurred on Sunday March 10, a man who is mentally unstable slit his own throat at Ram Mandir road under the town municipality limits of the taluk.

Mudiyapppa (35), son of Mudukappa of Koppal origin is the person who slit his throat. The locals who saw Mudiyappa harming himself, informed the police. The personnel of the Kundapur police station ASI Panduranga Naika, Sudhakar and staff rescued Mudiyappa and got him admitted to the government hospital in the town.

Mudiyappa is being treated at the hospital. However, the hospital authorities are saying that he is trying to run away from there every now and then.

    It loos like he is really mentally unstabile.When he tries to runaway then a treatment in a psycological hospital is unavoidable.hospital should take care to put him in a closed room.does he not have any other relatives?
