Bengaluru: Various business issues discussed at Kanara Entrepreneurs meet, new members inducted

Bengaluru, Mar 12: The meeting of Kanara Entrepreneurs centered on the theme 'Budget Analysis and Investment Opportunities' took place recently at the Grand Magrath Hotel.

In his welcome address, KE president Adrian D’Souza commented, “The commitment and dedication of members at Kanara Entrepreneurs is always our key to building a strong foundation and supporting our business community. KE has taken a quantum leap to cross boundaries by reaching out overseas to broaden horizons – in investments, in partnerships, in collaborations and in strengthening bonds."

KE director membership Roshan D’Silva then led the induction ceremony. The new members inducted were Anoop Sequeira, Gregory Nazareth, Jose Thomas, Kantharaj, Dolfred D’Souza, John D’Sa.



Shortly after the induction of the new members, a panel discussion moderated by Sameera Fernandes, Greener Steps centered around the theme ‘Growing Beyond Borders and how to expand your business’ global footprint’ with Sebastien Hug, CEO Swissnex India and Consul General of Switzerland and Gitesh Agarwal, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Queensland along with KE President Adrian D’Souza, KE director membership Roshan D’Silva, founder of tripvillas and KE lead member Dr Joseph Rasquinha, CEO of Blue Leaf Cyber Space took place.

“My mission is to connect the dots between Switzerland and India in the field of education, research, innovation and to ensure a strong presence in Southern India,” commented the Swiss Consul General Sebastien Hug.

Queensland Trade Commissioner Gitesh Agarwal said, “Queensland offers a stable economy, the ease of doing business, market access, proximity to global markets and is one of the world’s most resilient economy.”

Shortly after the panel discussion, Kanara Entrepreneurs lead member Mark D’Souza from Mark D'Souza & Co presented a budget analysis and advised the entrepreneurs as to how they should evaluate and analyse the budget and its implications. This was followed by a Q & A session where members had their queries addressed to by Mark D'Souza.
