Mangaluru: Cow theft, looting - anti-rowdy squad arrest two notorious criminals

Mangaluru, Mar 16: The anti-rowdy squad of Panambur sub-division of the city arrested two infamous, habitual offenders, who were involved in cow theft and looting in various parts of the state including the districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

Rafiq alias Bolla Rafiq (44), a resident of Permude near Bajpe and Mohammed Khalid (30), a resident of Ulayibettu are the arrested accused.

Cow theft case against Rafiq is registered in Kumta of Uttara Kannada in 2018. He is handed over to the Kumta police for further investigation.

Khalid is handed over to the Mangaluru rural police station.
