Mangaluru, Mar 25: A unique JCI programme called ‘Salute the Silent Worker’ was organized under the auspices of JCI Ganeshpura to recognize and felicitate those who serve society quietly and with dedication. The recipient of the honour was Ashok, a local resident and lineman of MESCOM Baikampady Division.
In his introductory address, Udaya Kumar, president of JCI Ganeshpura commended the recipient Ashok for his sincere service and devotion to duty. Addressing the gathering after accepting the honour, Ashok expressed his appreciation for the socially oriented activities of JCI Ganeshpura.
Arun Kumar escorted the guests to the dais. Secretary Shashi Kumar thanked the gathering. Past presidents Shrisha Karmaran, Dr Sampath Kumar, Bharathi Shrisha, Prashanth K A, Yashodhar, Ganesh and others were present on the occasion.
