Mangaluru: Blood donation camp held in Kuppepadavu

Mangaluru, Mar 27: A blood donation camp was held by Solidarity youth movement Kuppepadavu, NFC Kuppepadavu and blood helpline Karnataka in Kuppepadavu Kaveri institute in the cooperation of K S Hegde Hospital, Deralakatte on March 24.

Nearly 77 people donated blood. K S Hegde Hospital doctors and staff cooperated to collect blood.

Zakariya Achary Joe, who donated blood even though he has lost both the eyes, showed that any healthy person can donate blood.



NFC president Janab Mustafa inaugurated the camp. Office bearers of Solidarity youth movement, NFC Kuppepadavu and elite were present.

The organizers thanked blood donors, hospital staff and those who cooperated directly and indirectly to make the camp a success.
