Mangaluru: 'Even special children can swim' awareness talk to be held at SAC on Mar 29

Mangaluru, Mar 28: The PG department of Journalism and Mass Communication (MAJMC) of St Aloysius College (autonomous), will conduct ‘Schwimmen’ a two hour talk and interactive session regarding the importance of swimming for parents of special children on March 29 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Arivu Intervention Centre, Shakthi Nagar, here.

The event will be conducted in collaboration with Arivu, an early intervention centre of special children and learning ability. The speaker for the session will be Sharath Kumar (swimming instructor).

Many people are unaware of the importance of swimming as physical fitness especially for special children. The aim behind this awareness programme is to bring out the relevance of swimming for the health benefit of the children.
