Mangaluru: Ganja peddler held - cash, ganja recovered

Mangaluru, Mar 30: Personnel of the anti rowdy squad and Panambur police, in a joint operation, arrested Mohammed Aziz (43), who was found selling ganja in Panambur area.

The accused, Aziz alias Mohammed Aziz, hails from Casba Bengre. 1,280 grams of ganja worth about Rs 25,000 was seized from his possession.

Aziz was found to be hiding behind the oil tankers at parking area near the oil storage unit at Tannirbavi and selling ganja to customers. The police raided the spot and arrested him. It is learnt that Aziz and his wife already face charges of selling ganja in cases registered in Panambur and Coastal Security Police Station here.
