Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 31: Two primary school students were reportedly made to stand in the scorching sun for two hours for not paying fees. One of them is visually challenged,

The Kerala state child rights commission on Saturday registered a case against the school management.

One of the students, who collapsed, was later hospitalised.

The children, second standard students of the unaided school at Karumalloor near Aluva, had not paid the last installment of fees and the management recently refused them permission to appear for the examination.

The case was registered based on media reports. A report has also been sought from the school and education department authorities, the commission sources said.

The Kerala Human Rights Commission has also registered a case against the school.

Cruelty of the worst kind. Where were the parents who took them to school? Why punish the little ones when it was the parents who didn't pay. The school should have gone after them, not the kids. Some heads should roll, and the school head or the person responsible should be charged for cruelty under the Penal Code.

Children are small. If they didn't pay the fees means how these kids are responsible for this cruel punishment? Parents who work they have to pay. Heat is too much unable to stand for five minutes and two hours? May god bless these kids..

Where is humanity. That too, treating these innocent children in inhuman way. Our children are future of India. What we give them, they will return back to the land.

If given a chance to give a speech on nation building, community relationship, sacrifice to the neighbours, these to so called management people will raise their voices from the bottom of heart and will big speech. But in reality, this is what they do, to the children, just for school fees.

For all this people should serve their mother country. They should vote. They should pay tax. Just running to other countries is not going to help.
