Bengaluru, Mar 31: Uttama Prajakiya Party founded by actor, Upendra, has fielded candidates in 12 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state. However, Upendra has decided against fighting the election this time.

Addressing a press conference here, Upendra said that his party candidates will fight the election without luring the people with offer of meeting promises made in manifesto. He said that the party will not spend huge amount of money on meetings and functions and that campaigning will begin on April 1. He said that the demands of the people will form the manifesto of his party.

Upendra said that his party as fielded Suresh Kunder from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency, Vijay Srinivas from Dakshina Kannada, Asharani V from Mysuru-Kodagu constituency, and Chandre Gowda H M from Hassan.
