Mangaluru: CCB, narcotics team arrest drug peddlers, seize valuables worth over Rs 2 lac

Mangaluru, Apr 1: The CCB and narcotics crime branch has arrested two persons for selling banned drugs near PVS circle in the city on March 30.

The arrested are Javed (28) from Netharakere and Bengre Shan Nawaz (33).

The cops seized 24 grams of banned MDMA powder, KTM bike, digital weighing machine, mobile phone and other items worth Rs 2,20,000.

Based on credible information, the CCB and narcotics team under the guidance of Mangaluru city commissioner Sandeep Patil carried out the operation.
