Hubballi, Apr 1: There was rainfall in Dharwad, Belagavi, Gadag, Vijayapura, Ballari and several places in the district on Sunday, March 31.

It rained for half an hour in Hubballi and Dharwad. There were hail storms in D Antapura, near Toranakallu, Ballari district. Eight houses are damaged and a child is injured.

There were rains coupled with hail storms in Vijayapura, Hunagunda, Kamatagi and Ameenagada of Bagalkote district here. It also rained in Nidagundi, Alamatti in the district, Kithur, Bailhongal and Hirebagewadi in Belagavi district and Naragunda in Gadag district.
