Mangaluru, Apr 1: Kanara Drivers Association was inaugurated at Panambur INTUC office on Sunday, March 31.

Rakesh Malli, state INTUC president, Manohar Shetty, district INTUC president, Suresh, general secretary state INTUC, Chiranjeevi Anchan, district vice president youth INTUC, and Hitesh Poojary, president north block INTUC were present in the meeting.

Office bearers were selected for the union and also the drivers were addressed by all the dignitaries present in the function.

Rakesh Malli addressed the gathering and told that INTUC will not tolerate any kind of illegal activities or even support any such event. Manohar Shetty briefed the drivers about safety measures to be taken while driving and explained about the facilities available for them through the government. Chiranjeevi Anchan welcomed the gathering and assured the drivers that he will do his best as their president.
