Shivamogga, Apr 2: “People who see the development works by the government at the center, its dedication for the security of the country and concern towards the poor hope that the Modi led government comes back to power. Therefore, even if there is direct contest in Shivamogga, we will receive the blessing of maximum number of votes by the people,” said Shivamogga Lok Sabha BJP candidate B Y Raghavendra. He was speaking in a news conference held at a private hotel in Uppunda on April 1.
“There was 58% voting in by elections. More people will vote this time with Modi wave that he only should become the prime minister. There are seven BJP MLAs out of eight MLAs in Shivamogga. There are 16 lac beneficiaries of union government schemes in Shivamogga. Every scheme including loan waiver, Ayushman and Ujwal have reached the people,” he said.
“People have given an opportunity to represent the constituency in two terms and to serve them. I have implemented the dreams of national ideas, social thinking and development. Ernakulam-Pune train will stop in Byndoor railway station. More trains need to stop here. We will be trying for an airport here with Prime Minister Modi’s dream that ordinary people should also be able to travel by planes.”
“The two faces of Congress-JDS which has made the prosperity of the families important, are understood by the people. Even the last man is thinking over the achievements of governments that ruled the country after the independence. Voters will vote thinking about security of the country, development and far sight. People know that party is more important than the individual and country is more important than the party.”
“The state government has created sand issue. The problem was made complex during Siddaramaiah led government. People hoped that Kumaraswamy government will set it right. That hope has become false. Voter will give proper answer for all those things in the current elections.”
To the question by reporters how many seats will BJP win this time, he said that BJP will win more than 22 seats.
