Riyadh, Apr 2 (Arab News): The Saudi postal system has received a double international stamp of approval for its first-class customer service record.
Saudi Post scooped the Universal Postal Union’s (UPU) EMS Cooperative global customer service award of 2018, and also won the prestigious 2018 World Post and Parcel Award for customer service.
The government-operated postal system achieved the highest standards of customer service by using the international information system, a communication channel that allows the tracking of packages between EMS Cooperative member states.
Saudi Post President Anif bin Ahmed Abanmi said the accolades highlighted the company’s “keenness to provide the highest level of services to its customers.”
He added: “Receiving two customer service awards is the culmination of colleagues’ efforts to improve and continue to develop services.”
To win the award, postal companies must register a score of 100 percent for the quality of their customer service response, 98 percent or higher for responding to customer inquiries on time.
