Beltangady, Apr 2: Sumalatha Ambareesh, who is involved in a high profile electoal battle against chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy's son, Nikhil Kumaraswamy at Mandya, visited Lord Manjunatheshwara temple at Dharmasthala on Monday April 1 and paid obeisance to the presiding deity.

Speaking to media persons on the occasion, she said that she has confidence on the people that they will give a fitting reply to malicious campaigning undertaken by her opponents. She refused to give any further reaction on the issue.

"Actor, Darshan, has already launched election campaign at Srirangapatna. Yash will join the electioneering on Tuesday. Me and my supporters will get involved with campaigning from Tuesday onward," she revealed.
