Abu Dhabi: Indian expat Ravindra Boloor wins Dh10 million Big Ticket raffle

Abu Dhabi, Apr 3: While many expats dream of becoming millionaires in the UAE, not everyone makes the cut. For an Indian expat though, life has changed in an instant, making him a millionaire overnight.

Indian expat in the UAE Ravindra Boloor on Wednesday April 3 was declared winner of the Dh10 million Big Ticket draw.

The Big Ticket draw was held at Abu Dhabi airport arrival hall.

Ravindra had bought his lucky ticket, bearing the number 085524 on March 26.

The Big Ticket draw is popular among the residents of the UAE and has already many into millionaires.

According to a report by Gulf News, Big Ticket is yet to get in touch with Ravindra Boloor, as he is travelling in his home country. His daughter who answered a phone call from the organizers told them that he would be back in the UAE later this month.

Meanwhile, another ticket holder, Nester Susan, was declared winner of the oldest raffle ticket. She won a smartphone and a cash prize of Dh15 million. She had bought the ticket on June 20, 1996, but had not won then.
