Bengaluru, Apr 4: Karnataka State Women's Commission has served notice on Tejasvi Surya, BJP's candidate from the city (south) constituency, to appear before it for questioning on April 8.

The notice was served in consonance with a complaint made by the women's wing of Karntaka Pradesh Congress Committee, it is gathered.

The commission had earlier served a notice on Tejasvi, asking him to appear before it on April 3. Surya was able to secure temporary injunction from a court in the city, which has prohibited media from publishing defamatory and derogatory stories about Tejasvi.
