Mangalore: Ninasam Heggodu Performs ‘Kathana Kutuhala’ at Kalaangann

Mangalore, Mar 13: ‘Ninasam Heggodu’ staged ‘Kathana Kutuhala’ at Kalaangann on Friday March 13.

The Kannada play was staged as part of the ‘Ranga Souharda’ theatre for harmony, on the second day of the six-day drama festival.

Konkani cultural organization ‘Mandd Sobhann’ has organized this festival of dramas wherein Tulu, Kannada, Malayalam, Konkani, Beary, and Kodava language troupes are taking part.






























Jeevan Ram Sullia, Kannada playwright, was the chief guest for the day. He applauded the efforts of Mandd Sobhann for giving the opportunity to various drama troupes to perform at Kalaangann.  Mandd Sobhann Gurkar Eric Ozario welcomed the gathering. 

Rony Crasta, secretary, Mandd Sobhann, and Nagaraj, team manager, Ninasam, were present on the dais. Daya Victor Lobo compered the stage programme.

The festival of dramas will continue till Tuesday March 17.  All the dramas will start at 6:30 pm.  Malayalam drama ‘Jyothirgamaya’ by Nartana Kalalaya, Kozhikode, will be staged on Saturday March 14.

Entry is free for all.

    First of all i must thank for arranging a Multi-linguual Drama Festival.. the photographs are very nice you could have put some more...!keep encouragng the DRAMA which also tells how to live in a society...! thank you once again..
