Abha's job fair teems with Saudi job seekers

Abha, May 1: The launch of the first Saudi Health Specializations Employment Forum organised by Saudization and Health Committee Center at Abha Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the help of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and Saudi Human Resources Development Fund witnessed more than 700 men and women job seekers in Asir on Monday.

More than 700 young men and women in Asir applied for jobs at 50 medical institutions.

Hasan Al-Huwaizi, chairman of the Abha Chamber of Industry and Commerce, said, "The forum highlights the organization’s theory in preparing, training and employing qualified Saudis. It works to provide training to meet the expectations of the job seekers in Asir to qualify them for the major changes in the medical labor market."

Recently, SR 4.18 million ($1.11 million) was pumped into two unemployment programmes in the Kingdom by the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF).
