Mangalore, Apr. 11: Christians in the city gathered in their respective parishes to celebrate one of their greatest feasts , Easter.
Devotees gathered to celebrate the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. Traditional blessing of the Pascal Candle, blessing of water and fire and renewal of the baptismal vows were a part of the Easter vigil.
Easter services were held at Milagres, Kulashekar, Bejai, Bendoor, and Jeppu parishes of the city. The Rosario cathedral will begin the services with the midnight Easter vigil
