If Voted to Power BJP will Send Troops to Pak - Rajnath

PTI

Gaya, Apr 14: Striking an aggressive posture, BJP president Rajnath Singh on Monday said if his party is voted to power then India would send troops to Pakistan to crush terrorism in the neighbouring country after taking international approval.

"If voted to power, the BJP government will ask Pakistan if it needs support of the Indian army to crush terrorism. If Islamabad is agreeable, it is all right. If not, our government will approach the global community for its endorsement to send the Indian Army to Pakistan," he told an election meeting at Airu village here.

"However, we will like Pakistan to first use its might to stamp out terrorism and dismantle all terror networks operating from its territory," Singh said.

Accusing the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre of having failed to effectively check terrorism, the BJP president said terror strikes in Mumbai and elsewhere in the country bore a 'testimony' to it.

The Manmohan Singh government has failed to instill a sense of confidence in the people about internal security of the nation, he charged.

Reaffirming BJP's 'irrevocable commitment' to protect its frontiers and providing security to the people, Singh said, "Pokhran- II and the victory in the Kargil war are two shining examples of our commitment to internal and external security." National security is under severest threat ever. In the 50 years of Congress rule, not only the security aspect has been compromised, but unemployment has increased manifold and prices of essential commodities have spiralled out of control," he said.

To Navin Sinha: Let us not forget how many people died due to Hindu fundamentalist since 2000. The Gujarat violence and recently the Orissa violence, I am sure the count will cross the 2000 mark easily. Let us not forget how many people lost their home and are still leaving in the camps. Its very sad to see the Great Advani not utter a single word till date about these atrocities causes by the mobs. strange isn't it? We will be able to defeat the enemies outside India however the enemies within (RSS, BD, SRM to name a few) will not be defeated if Advani becomes PM.

Instead they will be more powerful. We all know that this is the root cause of such a big divide among all fellow Indians. Even I never spoke anything about this evil till stones and laaties were pelted on us in Mangalore by these goons. It’s a known fact the Advani wants to be a PM because its his dream and we all know that he does not give a damn to this country. Now is the bigger evil??? Vote wisely and make sure you vote for someone who will stand for all and not just for the mejority.

Mr.Vishal D'Souza, Mangalore / Bangalore, Mr.Shahnawaz seems to be a knowledgable person and i have read most of his comments, he speaks sense almost all the time, you seem to be biased and prejudiced. A compromise is a compromise is a compromise, and the then home minister has risked the life of 114 odd crore people by letting of the dreaded terrorist. It was total failure on the part of Government which was in power.

Mr. Vishal D'Souza, Mangalore / Bangalore, There is no person who is called bad because the root of goodness is already there. The badness of the person is when he possessed by the evil he will relentlessly do evil things.

Why I should not put a prefix before your name because yours is a fake name still presuming you are a human I am quoting Mr. Vishal to you also. The terrorist is a human and we can respect any human with prefix as Mr. If a terrorist shuns wickedness he is a good person.

Rajnath, other politician (all parties included), his sangh parivar associates, can they lead the troops against Pakistan arming themselves? That will cleanup 02 countries at the same time. Army & Indian people will then finish the fight once we get to know our politicians wont be back from the battle front. Pakistan, infected with Taleban anyway will not be problem then to solve for Indian Army & Indian People.

Mr. Shahnawaz Kukkikatte, dubai / udupi, if any one of your family members included in the plane which is hijacked to Kandahar what you would have requested to the then honourable home minister? Will you ask HM to kill your family members or listen to the demands??Are you brainless same like Congressmen ?? It's a great decision & the toughest one which has been managed well by L.K. Advani who succeded in releasing 150 memebers though one of them was killed on board.  Azhar Masood is not a human being, so what can we expect from a person like you, when you call a terrorist with prefix " Mr ".

Dear Sir, I think our Political leaders memory is very weak. The person now talks about sending the troops to Pak, when his own party in power for 5 years could not send one solider to Pak when Khandar Hijack, Parliament attack, Kargil war !!! instead of sending troops thier own great leader Mr. Advani went to pak and praised the father of Pak !! and now Mr. Rajnath singh talking sending our troops to Pak, if he have little sense first talk about sending our troops to Lanka to protect our Tamilians !!

We seem to take terrorism too lightly. After any terrorist attack there is a huge cry & protest and then after few days its as if life is normal. there were 1120 deaths from 69 Islamist terrorist attacks since 2000. there were 54 deaths in blast in Bangalore & Ahmedabad. In the last ten years, there have been bomb attacks in Mumbai, Coimbatore, Srinagar, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Varanasi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur & more than once in some cities.

Now what has been frustrating is the repetition of the events. Bombs go off, lives are lost, politicians mouths a few platitutes and few days later its life as usual. Terrorist seemed to attack at will and the real culprit are never caught. India is a soft target and no place in India is safe. After the 9/11 attack at the WTO, America introduced The Patriot Act which allows detention, tapping of phone conversations & monitoring emails & bank accounts in the interests of the State. My dear friend Shahnawaz and Mr.JOY CASTELINO you are staying in India and this is a country where even a Prime minister like Indira gandhi sold our country for cash if the ex.KGB chief is to be believed. in such a country where we ourselves disregard our own culture but praise those which had no base in this country are sacred. here nobody is intersted to do anything other than fill their coffers.

Didn''t you hear the news? how the judges are doing conmen's job. So right now the way things are going this will continue. govt. is not gonna take any action. It is just that!!!!!!! we know all of us pakistan donot have anything. if we attack we are the losers, because we carry many things inside with us. anyhow one or otherday we want to finish it up. why not today?.

Mr Rajnath Singh, please dont forget that your government has let Mr Azhar Masood free and your foreign minister escorted him to Kandhar. Its the same Masood masterminded terror attacks on Indian soil including 26/11. Why are you adapting double standards when dealing with terrorists.

Now you say if voted to power you will do this and do that, the day will never come and you keep dreaming of coming to power. Indian voters have already known you. You fooled them for the first time and now you cant fool them. This election shall hit the last nail of BJP's coffin.

Mr.Rajnath Singh, don't fool public and don't think that voters are innocent. In 2001, after the parliament attack your NDA government deployed the Army in Pakistan Border. After sometime, pressure from US government your own government withdrew the troops from the Border. And now you are saying that If Voted to Power BJP will Send Troops to Pak, are you joking?.

Mr.Rajnath – for winning the election, don’t play the dirty tricks in front of the public and don’t endanger our country’s valuable troop’s lives for your party’s benefits. Be mature, while addressing the pubclic.
