Sri Vishwaprasannateertha Swamiji of Pejavar Mutt laid the foundation stone for the second phase of renovation works at Sri Janardhan Temple, Kaup, near here, on Monday April 27 and also launched ‘Akshaya Nidhi’ on the occasion.
 
Swami Vishwaprasannateertha said that heavenly graces will be bestowed on a devotee if he donates one portion of his earnings.  He also urged the people to contribute to temple renovation as their prime duty.
 
Kaul MLA Lalaji R Mendon presided over the programme.  Speaking on the occasion, Mendon said that religious centres across the coastal district have benefited from generous contributions from devotees.  He conveyed best wishes for the successful completion of the second phase of temple renovation. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mumbai Charista Builders proprietors Sudhir Shetty and Lata Sudhir Shetty, Mumbai Tunga Group chairman Sudhakar S Hegde and Mumbai entrepreneur Dharmapal Devadiga were the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Kaup Sri Laxmi Janardhan Temple priest Kalya Vittal Tantri, Chokkady Srinivas Puranik, and renovation committee president Shasidhar K Shetty were also present on the dais.
 
Temple renovation committee former managing trustee Dr K Prabhakar Shetty welcomed the gathering.  Building committee president K Vasudev Shetty delivered the introductory address.  Managing committee president M Jayaram Hegde proposed the vote of thanks whiel Nilanand Naik and Nirmal Kumar compered the programme.

    This is very important for well being of everyone midst of the current suituations. Namaste to Jay Mastere(UBMC)-my head master ( 30yrs ago) & many know faces of Kaup surroundings in the nice pictures.

    White/Cream shirt, lungi & shawl are the original Tulunadu/Kerala dress. White represents purity of heart which goes well with the Kaup Janardhana Temple renovation programmes.
