Koppal, Jun 5: A three-year-old boy accidentally fell into a cauldron containing boiling Sambar and lost his life. This incident happened on Tuesday, June 4.
The boy, identified as Raju Manjunath (3) from Hoolegundi village in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh had come to Huligi village in the taluk along with his family to pay obeisance to Goddess Huligemma Devi at the temple dedicated to the goddess at the village.
When the family was inside the temple, the boy was playing around. He went near the spot where cooking was in progress in the open yard of the temple for community feast, and accidentally fell into the boiling cauldron of Sambar. Although he was immediately taken out of the cauldron and rushed to the government hospital at Hospet, his life could not be saved.
