Bengaluru: No cabinet expansion - Aspirant Congress MLAs restless

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Jun 6: The expansion or reformation of the state cabinet that was expected to take place after the Lok Sabha elections is becoming an illusion day by day. This is the bone of contention now between the senior and juniors in state Congress party. As the date is getting deferred, the rage among the aspirants of minister positions is increasing. This has created a delicate situation for the stability of the coalition government.

It was decided that the expansion of the cabinet will be done on Eid holiday. But as the aspirants for the ministerial berth are more, the party has decided not to expand or reform the cabinet now as this may cause controversy and more headaches to the coalition government. So the aspirants for the minister positions have started to vent out their anger openly.

Senior leaders Ramalinga Reddy and Roshan Baig have already expressed their unhappiness on the state Congress leaders, especially former CM Siddaramiah, state-in-charge K C Venugopal and KPCC president Dinesh Gundu Rao. Now another senior leader H K Patil has demanded the intervention of AICC president Rahul Gandhi to resolve the issue that has cropped up the in the state Congress party.

H K Patil said, "Rahul Gandhi has to mediate between the various leaders and MLAs of the Congress party to resolve the present crisis. The situation might get out hand, if the Congress high command does not intervene now. Rahul Gandhi himself has to call a meeting of all the senior leaders and resolve the chaos."

"High command should intervene immediately when the senior leaders of the party are openly expressing their anguish. Certain MLAs have directly expressed their unhappiness on state-in-charge K C Vengugopal over the issue of not expanding the state cabinet. Rahul Gandhi has to call for a meeting and find a solution to the issue," added H K Patil.

In the midst of all these chaos, Siddaramaiah, who is on the receiving end of the dissidents in the party, said, "The position of minister that has fallen vacant due to the demise of C S Shivalli will be given to Ramalinga Reddy. I will not speak anything about H Vishwanath of JD(S) and Roshan Baig."

Selfish politicians. If they are true leaders they can work anyways. With a ministership or not. But the only issue why they all want to be ministers is to loot our state.

The Aspirant Cong MLAs should make noise and revolt till they are allotted ministerial berths. They have to also keep in mind, that they are just slaves of the dynasty and will not have any privileges like they master Pappu Khan. The Khan can even lose 50 times and still be their leader. He will be made to contest from Wayanad if Amethi is a doubt. Next time if Wayanad is doubt then he will contest from Karachi. So the moral of the story is crying baby gets the milk in Cong.

As much as possible keep this situation in the state like this, no governance , just doing circus to sav Govt, keep this matter always boiling, will diffnietly help consolidating more voted to BJP whenever assembly election comes . The current situation is such that only BJP can form a single largest party government, BJP knows this, they will not attempt to topple this government, but simply keep in touch with the coalation rebels, and give the government operation Kamala scare and trap them in the mess . BJP has good game plan like they are doing in WBengal, opposition vis falling into the Ditchs dug by BJP , that too in day time only .

BJp has a big role to play for the current situation. In fact the balatkari party does not want the coalition government to function at all. so they are keeping the coalition partners on tenterhooks with pulling of MLAs etc. So naturally the coalition partners will try to save the government and the governance get hit.
All of us have to feel the ill effects of this move of the balatkari party.
Anyway, even under such stressful situations, I bet coalition government has done far better than the chaddi government which saw three chief ministers in five years.

Election commission of India openly challenged the whole world to verify the EVM's. But people all over the world including British could not prove that EVM can be tempered .
Very unfortunate to blame EVM every time which is easy for them to target and hide their defeat.

Whatever be the situation in the entire country due to the hype created by the tea maker and goonds elements, in karnataka Balatkaris cannot bring down the coalition government.
DKS is a lion and so are the Appa maga party . The chaddis have to wait on the sidelines salivating till the completion of another term. Till then chaddi yeddi might be in paraloka.

it seems the night's thunder and rain has woken up mamu of this forum with great spirits and hangover of yesterday's thombathu
Whatever may come, In karnataka till the lions like DKS, Sidda, appa and maga party are there, balatkari party will not get a chance to form government
Though I am not in favour of Congress party, in karnataka they are far far better than the third rated balatkari party leaders like yeddy and reddy
