Puttur: Bike - car collision - motor bike rider killed

Puttur, Jun 6: After a motor bike and a car got involved in an accident at Periyashanti near Uppinangady on Wednesday June 5, the motor bike rider suffered critical injuries and breathed his last at a hospital.

The victim was Rajesh (35) from Kerala. The car in question was carrying some pilgrims who were bound for Dharmasthala. Rajesh, who was moving towards Shibaje, had suffered grievous injuries. He was taken to Mangaluru and admitted into a hospital there. But he did not survive for long, it is gathered.

A case about this accident was registered in Uppinangady police station.
