Mangaluru, Jun 7: Inaugural of the Catechetical year in Neermarga Parish was organized on June 2.
Fr Anil D Mello, parish priest celebrated the Holy Mass along with Fr Hilary. After the entrance hymn, the inaugural ceremony took place comprising of enthronement of the Bible and watering the plant by parish priest, student and parent and teacher representatives as a sign to take care of the earth and the environment.
During the Holy Mass all the catechism teachers took oath towards maintaining their commitment towards Catholic faith by teaching Catechism.
The parishioners witnessed this solemn oath taking ceremony led by Fr Anil D Mello and it was carried on as per the format given by Diocesan Biblical Catechetical and Liturgical Commission (DBCLC).
