Mangaluru, Jun 8: The ninth day novena in honour of St Anthony was celebrated at St Anthony's Ashram, Jeppu on Saturday, June 8.
Fr Anil Roshan Lobo, former parish priest of Panja, offered the Mass for the missionaries working all over the world.
Fr Anil in his homily exhorted the faithful to be missionaries in their own field of work and at home or wherever they are. “It was the ardent fervour of our dear patron saint Anthony himself to be a missionary to Morocco for which he even joined the Franciscan Order,” he said. He also asked the faithful to pray for the Missionaries working in the most difficult of places in the world.
Fr Trishan and Fr Roshan, assistant directors concelebrated. Fr Trishan conducted the rosary and novena.
