Mangalore, May 13: Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) entrance test for admission into private medical and engineering colleges in the state, will be held on May 17 at Sahyadri Institute of Technology premises here.
Around 480 students from different states of the country including Karnataka and Nepal, will be appearing for the examination. Physics and chemistry tests will be held in the morning session while biology and mathematics tests will be conducted in the afternoon.
The institute has arranged for transportation facility for the students and their parents, from Pumpwell Circle in the city to the college at 8.15 am on that day. Facility to drop the concerned back at Pumpwell Circle has also been made, after the conclusion of the test. In a release, college principal Dr D L Prabhakar said, a helpline (0824-2277333) will be available for the students.
The students appearing for the test have been asked to be present at the examination centre an hour ahead of the beginning time.
