Kasargod: Intelligence department warns of possible ISIS attack at Kochi

Kasargod, Jun 21: The central intelligence department has warned about the possibility of ISIS terrorists launching attacks on shopping malls at Kochi.

The report also stated that in addition to shopping malls, the terror outfit also has plans to raid some important centres in the city. It is said that ISIS, which has suffered reverses in its operations in Iraq, Syria etc, has now planned to execute subversive plans to inflict destruction in seashores of India.

Even now, cyber activities connected with ISIS continue to happen in Kerala. The chances of locals who have joined hands with ISIS executing this attack are bright. The ISIS cadres are now being trained abroad now, and they might come back any time and indulge in destructive, violent activities. As per information collected by the intelligence, which has conveyed the same to Kerala.

After the ISIS suicide attacks in Sri Lanka, the central intelligence bureau and National Investigation Agency have increased their close vigil in Kerala.
