United Kingdom, May 14: UK Konkans, one of the leading Mangalorean Associations in the U K is all geared up to celebrate Konkan Day on 24th May 2009 at Addlestone Community Hall, Surrey KT15 2NJ.
This year’s event has a special significance as this will be 5th year in succession the event is being held.
A grand Konkani mass will be offered by Fr Olvin Viegas SJ, followed by entertainment program of folk and Bollywood dances, skits, games etc.
The event will be well supported by Mangalorean United Konkans Association (MUKA)-Nottingham and Konkani Catholic Association (KCA), Manchester.
Raphael D’Souza, the president of UK Konkans has requested all Mangaloreans living in around London to make use of this wonderful opportunity and support this event with their whole hearted participation.
