Kaup: Motorbike rider dies as his two-wheeler skids

Kaup, Jun 22: In a tragic accident which happened at around midnight on Thursday June 20, a motor bike rider died on the spot after he fell down to the road after the wheels of his vehicle suffered a skid. The accident happened near Checkpade in Shirva village. The victim of the accident happened to be Vinod (27).

Vinod, son of Vijaya from Totlaguri in Shirva, was moving towards the town from Shirva with his friend, Kumar, in the pillion. As Vinod applied brakes all of a sudden, the motorbike went out of his control as the wheels skidded, and tumbled down near the road bend at Checkpade. Vinod who suffered grave injuries to his head, died on the spot. Kumar escaped with minor injuries.

Kumar, it is learnt, was the elder of the two children of Vijaya. He worked as driver in the tempo owned by his father. He was hardworking, well-behaved, and friendly person. He was a bachelor.

On the basis of a complaint made by the pillion rider, Kumar, a case about the incident was registered in the police station here.
