Crores and crores have been stolen by finance companies and loan sharks. They are getting VIP treatment. This poor girl was beaten left and right for allegedly stealing a gold chain. Did she break in and open the safe? It is also the responsibility of the owner to keep the valuables in safe. Suspension is not enough, these constables should be dismissed and charged with assaulting minor. This is a wake up call for human rights activists.

Suspension is a hog wash. Suspended govt. servants still get some pay and their share from the "Pool."
If acquitted, they get all the back pay with interest, promotions and all other benefits. It is hard to prove their case in the court and they knew about it. When did we last hear that a police officer went to jail for misusing power or committing atrocity against the innocents? They know the system, they know the people in the system and they are the system. The police system need a overhaul to align with the civilized society.

Horrible. It has become a normal process always in police station first torture them ,beating them with heavy belts first and start later to ask,the accused right or wrong they agree whatever the police ask fearing their reaction.Even foottritts are there. No wonder sometimes when it is too much people die or faint.Horrible .Here the women atleast should have had some pity and humanity, simply ask without electric shocker and torture.Best is give to them also once this e.shock.Then they will understand. These police women should be not only suspending ,but throw them in jail ,let them pay some compansation .simply dont let it go.Hope the girl will be back to good health .Whether she had stolen the gold?

Puttur police is busy with blatant violation of rights of the minor. They have no time to attend to illegal cattle transportation that is becoming a political issue which has potential to divide the society big time.
Suspension won't work. These policemen should be behind bars for delivering justice in the police station instead of solving this issue in the court.
