Dubai, Jun 29: An Indian man’s luck turned around with a single tweet. Rajesh P who works as a sales associate for a supermarket in Jumeirah who did not receive his salary for several months has finally got a reason to celebrate.
The minister of state for external affairs, V Muraleedharan, reached out to Rajesh after reading his tweet. Rajesh describes his tumultuous living situation in his tweet and requests to return back to India. The minister of state for external affairs then responded to the tweet stating he would help him out. Following which Rajesh was flooded with 10 job offers from different companies in the UAE.
According to Rajesh, he was persistent in his efforts on getting the help, he has been tweeting about his condition since the beginning of June. Apparently, Rajesh had found a tweet by V Muraleedharan on Jun 24, which was in relation to repatriation of a mortal remains of an expatriate in Saudi Arabia. Seeing this as a means to be heard, Rajesh, copied and pasted his earlier twitter appeal, “Sr iam dubai my company close. 6mounts no salary for Mount's no electricity in room. I want to go India please help me 0526292060."
Rajesh stated that he has an outstanding bank loan of Rs 7 lac and has not paid the EMI since eight months. He wanted to return back to India, so that he could shift the power of attorney to his wife and also talk to the bank. Fortunately, in the light of recent events, one of the 10 ten companies are already looking forward to visit him in his company’s accommodation to offer him a job.
