Mangaluru: ‘Laudato Si’ programme held at Angelore parish

Mangaluru, Jul 8: The Angelore Youth Movement (AYM) held ‘Laudato Si’, an awareness programme about the need for protecting mother Earth on Sunday, July 7 in golden jubilee memorial hall. The event was a great success.

After the prayer, the president of Angelore Youth Movement Vinol Roche welcomed the chief guest, Ranjan, Sachin and their team and the rest of the people who had gathered at the venue. Parish priest Fr William Menezes along with the chief guest inaugurated the programme. He then addressed the gathering.

The keynote section of the event was handled by Ranjan who spoke about the work conducted by Ramakrishna Mission and the need for conservation of nature and Sachin taught the gathering about pot composting.

The parish priest and all the youth AYM handed over a sapling to the chief guest as a memento. The secretary of AYM Sohan D’sa delivered the vote of thanks.
