Udupi, Jul 8: "There are plenty of opportunities to do own business in our country. Government also gives many benefits for own business set up. Many people get employment, if one gets into self-employment. The country will progress due to this," said Pushpalata Hegde, assistant trainer of Khadi and Gramodyoga commission, Udupi zone.

Pushpalata was speaking as the chief guest on the occasion of Silk Share training workshop that was held at Kidiyoor Hotel in the city.

Training and encouragement was provided since the past three months to people who would like to start their own business by Khadi and Gramodyoga commission of the city. Assurance of loan certificates for micro, small and medium scale entrepreneurs along with the training was given.

The certificates for the participants of the programme were distributed by Mohammed Ansar, professional trainer-work related of Khadi and Gramodyoga commission of Udupi. He also wished good luck to all those who got the certificates.

More than 300 people received the certificate during the programme. Trainer Atif welcomed the gathering. Harish rendered the vote of thanks. Dr Satish Rao compered the programme.
