Dubai, Jul 9: A 30-year-old Asian man was arrested at the Dubai International Airport for faking passport and other travel documents.

As per Khaleej Times, the public prosecution said that the airport authorities suspected the defendant when they realised that he bought the tickets just two days before the flight and had no baggage.

An officer, at the departure gate, found out that the document was printed using normal ink and had no official marks. The officer also noticed that the Indonesian passport had a fake entry stamp on it.

The defendant was arrested and the public prosecution referred his case to the criminal court for forging official documents.
