Udupi, Jul 9 : A huge tree got uprooted near Kunjal in Brahmavar taluk of the district. The state highway of Brahmavvar-Hebri-Theerthalli is completely blocked because of the fallen tree.
Fortunately, there was no vehicle movement during the incident. So no casualties have been reported.
Electricity supply in area is interrupted as the tree fell upon the electric wires. Traffic is diverted to an alternative road.
Locals are helping to clear the road to facilitate vehicular movement.
