Udupi, Jul 16: Logo of the Saphalya Trust, a women’s organisation was released by Dr Niketana, principal of Hiriyadka First Grade College.

Inaugurating the organisation she said, “Women should give back to the society. They should be facilitators. Women should stand on their own feet and live a dignified life in the society.”

Saphalya Trust is a selfless organisation aiming to do service to society. The organisation aims at societal development by providing books to the needy students, educating rural students in regard to professional courses, helping the needy with financial support, environmental protection, enlightening youth about responsible living and others.

All the members of the trust are dignified women in their respective field.

Jayanthi S Shetty, Mahila Samaja, president, inaugurated the website of the trust. Entrepreneur Purushottham Amrutha inaugurated the function. On the occasion, notebook distribution, helping aid for Asha Nilaya and scholarship distribution was held.

Nirupama Prasad, president Saphalya Trust welcomed the gathering. Indu Ramanand, secretary, proposed vote of thanks. Mamata Divakar Shetty, treasurer was present on the occasion.
