Dubai, Jul 31: Ministry of Economy in the UAE announced last week that it has either waived off or reduced the fees on several services offered by it to businesses in order to give a fillip to business in the country.
The cancellation includes 61 types of transaction fees, trademarks, industrial license services, commercial registration, auditing accounts, services for intellectual property and commercial agencies ranging from AED100 to 5,000 as per resolution 51 of the current year by the ministry.
The World Bank report states that the UAE has improved in its ease of doing business from last year’s 78.73 per cent to 81.28 per cent this year.
