Washington, Aug 4 (IANS): Police were responding to reports of a mass shooting on Sunday in the US state of Ohio, where a number of people were thought to have been hit, the BBC reported.
First reports came in at about 1 a.m. of a shooting outside a bar in Dayton city's Oregon area.
Casualties have been taken to a number of hospitals, according to local media.
The incident came hours after another mass shooting in El Paso, Texas which left at least 20 people dead.
It is unclear whether the shooter was still at large.
