Bangalore, Jul 9:
A fruit and vegetable stall located on the main road in Chennapatna, in the newly-formed Ramanagar district of Bangalore, has been attracting a lot of customers of late.

All varieties of fruits and vegetables are artistically displayed in the make-shift stall set up beneath a tree by Anthony.

Anthony is assisted by his two teenaged sons who attend the school nearby and help their father in their spare time.  Anthony follows the hygienic practice of washing the fruits chosen by the customers before presenting it to them on a plate with picks.  He also applies homemade honey on the fruits.

Chennapattana is famed for its puppet industry, and this correspondent who was mesmerized by the puppet show was equally impressed with the artistic display of fruits and vegetables at the stall.

Anthony’s friendly nature and his salesmanship are primarily responsible for bringing back the customers repeatedly to his stall.

Good presentation. We need not bother about the cleanliness of his dress. It can look dirty because of the fruit juice and oil patches n dress can not be cleaned by soap and water. Rather it is none of our business as long as fruits and vegetables are clean, in fact they are also grown under worst conditions than his dress..!

Well what John said is correct, but he could have put it in a more polite way. When handling food related items hygeine is mandatory. Its not new clothes its clean clothes that matters. This is an international website not only representing Mangalore but whole India.

Mr John, Staying in Kuwait, may be siting in side AC room,it is easy to comment the poor but hard working people like Mr Antony. If you are so concern for neatness, please help him, but don''t make fun of others.

I fully agree to Veena Pinto, Mangalore/Kuwait His dirty clothes can be taken care of but what about his friendly nature, its that is important. There are many with grumpy faces cleanly dressed in super markets but they dont bring customers . I hope people can help him by buying his products, God bless Anthony and his family.

Dear John may be you are lucky to present your self in a neat and clean manner. But may be he can''t afford to do so cause if he will do that he will have to also keep his children with him to work after that also he will not be able to buy clothes that he can present himself.I hope people like you can help him and support him rather then commenting. So before commenting thing twice.
