Mangaluru: Using labour welfare funds for flood relief is cheating - MLA U T Khader

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Sep 29: "Instead of getting funds from the central government for flood relief operations, the state government is using the funds meant for labour welfare, which amounts to cheating of labour class," said MLA U T Khader at a press conference on Saturday, September 29.

Khader further elaborated on the subject and said, "The union government has not released any grant for flood relief in the state. An all-party meeting is not being called to discuss this matter. Though there are 25 BJP MPs of the state in the union government, they are not shouldering their responsibility in this respect. Chief Minister (CM) Yediyurappa is being insulted in Delhi. We are with the CM in the matter of getting funds for flood relief work from the centre."

Responding to the development of the district, Khader said, "MP Nalin Kumar should call for a meeting of people's representatives and officers of the district and hold discussion on the development of Dakshina Kannada district. I am not an aspirant for the post of president of DCC."

On a query about the recent assault incident that occurred at a mall in the city and the subsequent provocative messages that are being spread on social media, MLA Khader said, "Police officers have to inform the public about what really happened that led to this assault and provide justice. There should not be any opportunity for chaos and confusion."

About a video that has gone viral on social media, in which the Congress activists are doing exercise with Lathis in their hands, Khader responded, "What is wrong if one is taught about exercise in order to keep the body fit? Prime Minister Modi himself speaks about fitness. I have already suggested training the activists of Sevadal at block level."

There are 60 wards in Mangalore. During Congress regime 2013 tp 2018 rupees 7 crore per ward was sanctioned by Karnataka state government. Work done in the wards is worth 1.2 crore by an independent cost consultant. So can U T Khader explain where did the rest of the 5 crore 80 lakh go. May we know who are the beneficiaries of this loot. How did poor politicians once they join politics build mansions.

I was a JDS youth president in 1998. Fed up of corruption, I left the party. I belong to Christian minority but I never claimed any minority benefit for myself till date. I even gave up gas subsidy when the Modi government called for voluntary service so that a poor household has gas. I firmly believe that only if one person has enough money and income wants to join politics with sole motive to serve the people of this country, should he or she join politics.
Am doing social work with my own money I don't require ill-gotten wealth by stealing money alloted for public. First return 5.8 crore per ward into 60 wards nearly 360 crores, do up the roads in Mangalore. Then talk or advice others what to do. Else if u want to keep the looted money and talk nobody is interested to listen. The public will write to enforcement directorate income tax. Like D K Shivakumar other big fishes of coastal city will cry political vendetta when caught for looting public money. Justice will prevail, I pray to the good lord let justice come upon those behind looting public money.

Khader Sab, The BJP government has not even spared the Reserve Bank of India. It looted and scooted the 'Piggybank' of the nation to meet the deficit of 1.77 lakh crores.

The PM Modi's 'Naya Bharath' is made our hard toiled nationalized banks of the Karnataka history. Vijaya Bank is the living example and many more banks of our are now in the same fate.

Unfortunately, the Karnataka BJP has plenty of money to buy MLA's and provide free private jet travel service and free five-star accommodation in a Mumbai hotel.

When it comes to the flood victims of Karnataka it using labor welfare funds. Now they started another Bellary in undivided Canara in the name of 'Sand extortion'.

Hope Karnataka will not become another Tamil Nadu.

The financial situation of central ( union ) government is bad. They have no options but to sell Maharatna, Navratna, Miniratna government companies and banks. But no one wants to open his/her mouth for fear of witch hunting by government agencies.. The rich of India have already made foreign country as their base, They have already read the economic situation. Only blind followers still believe in this government and propaganda.

Central Govt. is bankrupt but BJP is tightlipped.

Modi is borrowing money and trying to sell major Govt. companies such as BPCL, Hindustan Zinc etc.

Fees for education are being increased.

The money is being paid to crony friends of Modi in India and abroad.

When the government is using cash ratios of banks which is in reserve bank of India than what you want? They may use gold bonds of public and public peoples property but they don't want to show they are failures.
