Explosives supply for subversive activities across India from Mangaluru?

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Oct 1: Central crime branch (CCB) police have brought Zainulabidin, an Indian Mujahideen terrorist, to the city from Arthur Road jail in Mumbai. His custody was taken over on the basis of body warrant. During his questioning, the police have come to know that for most of the bomb blasts which occurred in the country, explosives were supplied from Mangaluru and Zainullabidin had played a major role in this transportation.

Zainullabidin happens to be a close confidante and associate of IM founder Yasin Bhatkal. Under the instruction of Yasin, he had undertaken the responsibility of transporting explosives to different destinations. For this purpose, he had appointed his followers at certain spots. Syed Ismail Ashfaq, Abdul Sabur, Saddam Hussain, and Riaz Ahmed Sayyadi, who were arrested in 2015, were active members of this group. This group had undertaken the task of taking explosives for different places for bomb blasts which happened in the country between 2011 and 2014.

Sources said that the team will continue to question the accused to know more about who gave them explosive material at Mangaluru and whether the accused were manufacturing explosive materials themselves.

When Yasisn Bhatkal was arrested by National Investigation Agency in 2013, Zainullabidin and others had fled to Saudi Arabia. From there, terrorist, Riaz Bhatkal, who was operating from Karachi and Dubai, was contacted and with the help of his follower, Syed Ismail Ashfaq, who was living at Bengaluru, plans to set off blasts were drawn up. A gang of four from Bengaluru were arrested by the central crime branch police during January.

Zainullabidin was taken to Parappana Agrahara prison where an identification parade was held. Zainullabidin was identified in the presence of jailed terrorists and more probe is needed to establish the links he had with other suspected terrorists, the police stated.

Its difficult to believe that the explosives came from Mangalore. It must have come from the border region and since Mangalore is the nearest town, our Tulunad's name has been dragged in the dirt to create more communal disharmony.

That means from mangalore to destination it goes through, road, flight or by sea. It will be possible only if our security or custom personnels allowe them through screening. It passing means our government officials or servents helping terror activities.

Quite possible the mastermind Yasin Bhatkal chose Mangalore as the explosives manufacturing site. He may be quite familiar with the city being close to his hometown when compared to other cities.

" Treachery " is a vile, potent word in the English dictionary.... PM Modiji, has reasonably successful in containing, enemies across our borders... What is worrisome, is the fact that subversive modules, with linkages to radicalism, are active multiplying like cancer cells, within our nation.... Mangaluru and Dakshin Kannada district, offers complete anonymity, for anti national elements.... The city lies in close promity to an airport, seaport and NH66 high way, crisscrossing South Indian states... North Kerala, is a volatile hub, for extremists.... The NIA and security agencies, must weed out and neutralize these elements at the earliest !!!!

If they are genuinely involved in terrorists act why to wait for such a long years. Hang them. The incident seems unnecessary at this moment seems political motivated.

We have many such cases still become dumpuss without any evidences after torturing accused for 20- 25 years .CCB obviously operating under Modi and Shah.

Such crimes should be dealt with strict law and punishment without playing cast and religious card. Guilty to be punished.

10 years down the line Zainullabidin will be released as it would be found that he was innocent and Hindutva police had framed him.

All the Muslims accused of Hyderabad Mecca blast, Malegaon Blast, Ajmer blast were released as police had just picked up poor Muslims and allowed Hindutva thugs like Swami Aseemanand, Sadhvi Pragya etc off the hook. With current BJP govt this truth also will not be known.

saadvi pragya ,purohith, baabu bajrangi, maaya kodnani, aasimanand ect all belongs to which coomunity who all released or got bail by the chaddi bjp govt . Our central home minister himself was in jail before getting minister or MP. indian democracy is slowly becoming majoritarian dictatorship even without a strong opposition party. If modi regime remains in power all the businessmen have to leave the country due to financial terrorism and minorities and dalits may land jails for fighting their rights

It is time that section 188 IPC be strictly implemented in Mangalore, wherein tenants and paying guests have to be compulsorily registered at the jurisdictional police station and owners of the property have to keep the proof of identity and address of their paying guests and tenants. This is implemented in many parts of the country but not in Mangalore. So our city has become a safe hideout.
