ICSI Mangaluru Chapter holds walkathon for Fit India

Mangaluru, Oct 4: As a part of central government initiative of Fit India, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Mangaluru Chapter hosted walkathon from PVS to its chapter office in Kapikad, Bejai on Friday, October 4.

CS Chethan Nayak, chairman, ICSI, Mangaluru Chapter, flagged off the walkathon.

Members and students took pledge of Fit India Fit ICSI. The objective behind this programme is to create awareness about the importance of physical exercise and fitness for all, especially for professionals.

More than 100 people participated in this programme, including ICSI chapter vice chairman CS Prasanna Patil, secretary CS Akshay Shet and many company secretaries of the city.

Before the start of the walkathon the members took a pledge for Fit India. The walkathon passed through Ballal Bhag, Lalbhag and in front of KSRTC bus station Mangaluru.
