Doha: Dr Safwan Ahmed felicitated at Qatar

Doha, Nov 5: Dr Safwan Ahmed hailing from Mangaluru who is on a short visit to Qatar was felicitated by Qatar based Indian Association 'Qatar Indian Social Forum' on Monday November 4.

Dr Safwan MD, DM had secured sixth rank at Rajiv Gandhi Health Science University in 2011 and was honoured with a gold medal. He was also recently awarded with Dr Anisya Vasanth Memorial Award for the Best Neurology Student of the Year 2019 and awarded gold medal.



On September 16 he was honoured at NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Science) held at Bengaluru graced by Karnataka CM B S Yediyarappa, Union Health Minister, Dr Harshvardhan and Institute director Dr B N Gangadgar.

Dr Safwan is presently employed at Father Muller Hospital – Mangaluru.

Dr Safwan Ahmed’s wife, Dr Fathima Raeesa, Mumtaz Hussain, father-in-law of Dr Safwan, Nazeer Pasha, forum’s president, SKMWA- Qatar president Engineer Majeed Mudabidre, Ayyub Ullal and many guests were present. Ziya ul Haq, vice-president of the forum delivered the keynote speech while Isaq K L was emcee.
