Dubai: Mangalore Konkans to Host Evergreen Comedy Play 'Mhataro Chorbela' on Sep 25

Dubai, Aug 16: Age does not seem to affect the enthusiasm of Francis Fernandes Casic, one of the finest Konkani comedian and writer, director and philanthropist, who is 65 and still seem to be growing young. He is all set to create new records in Konkani drama field. On public demand comedy play in Konkani, 'Mhataro Chorbela' will be back in Dubai again on Sep 25, 2009 at the Emirates International School Auditorium (the famous hall where Mangalore Konkans Dubai staged super hit play “TO MAKA NAKA”).

Konkani drama enthusiast from UAE can recall that this comedy play was staged in Dubai more than a year back with all lead artistes from Dubai. But, this time’s speciality is that all the artistes will be flown in from Mumbai and have been part of record breaking 37 shows presented all around Gulf and India.

Mangalore Konkans Dubai, champions of organizing events, who is in the verge of 21st year of their existence, under the current leadership of Santosh Nazareth is all set to host this play.     Dear Comidy King Francis Fernandes I have seen ''Mhataro Chorbela'' at Shirva and I find a very remarkable drama in konkani. There is no doubt in my mind that it was a wonderful comedy drama. I am a big fan of your dramas. I remember those days in Mumbai I have seen many dramas in St. Mary''s Hall Mazgoan, even in Gulf like Avoi thi Aboi, Maldisaanv ect...ect... Keep it up and God bless you and your team.

    I wish francis all the best. I have seen this drama when i was on a official visit to Kuwait. It was fully packed crowd i could see in Kuwait comparing to christian community live over there. I wish the same response from all mangaloreans in dubai. It was a wonderful comedy drama one should never miss. Thanks francis, thanks daiji
