Mangalore, Aug 18:
Bollywood hero of yesteryears and Hindi film maker, Rakesh Roshan, visited Goddess Satyadevata Temple in Gurupur near the city and  offered special pooja to the presiding deity on Monday, August 17.

He also explained that he has not been facing any grave problems in his life at present that requires him to offer special prayers to the Goddess, in reply to a question raised by the media, as to whether he is facing some  problems that  necessiated him to beseech the Goddess here.

Sathyadevata Temple in Gurupur, has a history of several years and is popular among the people of the district. It is located at a distance of about 15 kilometres from the city.

Rakesh Roshan said, his next film ‘Kites’ would be released soon. He explained that this film has come off superbly and that it has got every chance of becoming a super hit movie. He also stated that the movie has excelled in all the departments including story line, music, acting, star cast and other spheres of movie making.

At the same time, he clarified that he does not have time to act in movies, as he is busy with the production-related works.

Glad to hear that you visited Mangalore specially to pay homage to the Goddess at the Satyadevata Temple at Gurpur. I am sure the good people of Gurpur and Mangalore looked after you well, as can be seen from the photographs appeared. Now that I heard so much about this temple in Gurpur, thanks to the Daijiworld, I will make a point to visit this temple (though, like yourself, I do not have any special favours to seek from the Goddess, or prayers to offer for), when I will be spending a few days with my close relatives who are living in the neighbouring town, Ganjimata. I also look forward to seeing your forthcoming film `Kite`, and wish it`s success.
