New Delhi: Some BJP Leaders Behaving as Humpty Dumpty: Arun Shourie

TNN

New Delhi, Aug 24: The simmering crisis in BJP deepened on Monday with senior leader Arun Shourie attacking the party leadership, saying that even raising questions within the party forum was being dubbed as "indiscipline" and that some leaders at the top were behaving as 'Humpty Dumpty'.

"Even raising these questions (within party forum) is becoming indiscipline," the former union minister told a private television channel while responding to a question on expulsion of Jaswant Singh.

Without naming anybody, he said there were people in the party who have "brought about this situation and brought the party to this pass. They are the ones who are hurting the party."

Shourie said there are some people in BJP who have been "planting stories for the last five years against each one of us, including Mr (L K) Advani and including Rajnath Singh in the press by six journalists".

Questioning whether that was "discipline", he said "if you want to call this (his action) indiscipline, ok, call it. But we feel it (party) is an important institution, the party is an important institution."

Throwing a virtual challenge to the party leadership to act against him for his utterances, he said "So, you want to be Humpty Dumpty and make words mean what you say and act, then I presume you already have in your mind to act against me or anybody, so act."

Mr. Shourie finally you have come out from the thick walls of prison to speak out in the open.you are right one has to speak his mind out if its the truth. To a person of your dignity the BJP will not have the voice to harm you in any way, as they have become like nine pins.

The party will crumble slowly and the answer to that is time.My heart goes out to you ,Mr. Jaitley and quiet a few other politicians who could have done great wonders to India, if only we could settled some core issues and would have been with the Congress.

This is one pary that will gho one as history has enough to explain why, look at the other parties and their way of functioning, are they concerned about the common man?.Mr. Shourie sure you can start making the ground for that to take place.

Mr. AB Vajapayee, the former PM of India, was one among the very few BJP leaders, who were really secular. Mr. Jaswant Singh was a true follower of Mr. AB Vajapayee. Now that he is expelled there are very few good leaders left in BJP. It is really sad! We want BJP to be a party of the 21st century with a clear vision and secular agenda. I will be the first person to vote for BJP if it becomes a secular party. Long Live our Secular India.

BJP looks like a private limited company run by traitors. Rajnath Singh is a disaster to the party. This fellow has no charisma, no leadership qualities, no communication skills. He has failed miserably and the miserable top leaders in BJP have no clue on what is happening. He is a traitor only who will be known to destroy BJP with L.K.Advani and Narendra Modi of Gujarat. BJP is in ventilator. Will not survive long unless these Chronic bacteria’s are removed.

Arun Shourie is screaming against some people in the party and not against BJP ideology. If he is against the party ideology, he should have come out of it long back. He has been a supporter of RSS ideology since long and now also he hasn''t changed.People here please do not get carried away by his murmering and presume that he has taken a dip in the Ganges to cleanse himself.

The BJP has proved that there is no place for the honest, straight forward and sincere people, all they need is puppets who nod their heads for everything and if one dares to question the leadership, he or she is promptly thrown out, is this not dictatorship?

Mr. Arun Shourie. I used to read a lot though of you as a well informed journalist. But it appears it is not so! I agree with Mr. Shahnawaz Kukkikatte that you it was an error on your part to join BJP which defintely is a communal party and has lost all respct and votes from the public.

Just see what is happening in Karnataka! It was a most progressive state and never in the news for any negative behaviour of the public or parties! But now that BJP has come to power, all sorts of stupid things keep on happening, i.e. religious discrimination, attacking girls who go to bars (why donj''t they attack men who go to bars?) and even beating girls who wear jeans to college!!

Mr Arun Shourie, being a journalist you should have known your rights before joining BJP which is controlled by RSS. Its yoour fault that you joined a communual party that is bent upon destroying the secular fabrics of India. BJP is a party that doesnt believe in Indian constitution and only believe in destroying Indian muslims and christians. This is the judgement delivered by God and If God wills something, no party can reverse it.
