Udupi, Aug 30: Mother Teresa Women’s Association of St Francis Xavier Church, Udyavara celebrated its first annual day at the parish hall, recently. Earlier, a thanks giving mass was held at 10:30 am.
Fr Charles Noronha, parish priest presided, while Leena Roche, president, women’s association, Mangalore diocese was the chief guest. Fr William Martis, Fr Maxim D’Souza and Godfrey D’Souza, vice-president, parish council were the guests of honour.
Shantha Fernandes, president, women’s association welcomed the gathering. Hazel D’Lima, secretary read the annual report and Wilma D’Silva, vice-president proposed the vote of thanks.
Mary D’Souza compered the programme. The celebration concluded with light entertainment put up by the members.
