I am indeed happy to see so many retired teachers honored by The Catholic Board of Education. According to me the best profession is TEACHING where teahcers at various levels impart knowledge and inculcate true values to students. It is therefore befitting that teachers are honoured for the selfless service and sacrifice.

I am glad that the initiative is taken by The Catholic Board of Education of which I was a Governing Board Member for several years. Kudos to those who conceived the idea to recognize the merit of teachers. Joe Gonsalves

Being miles away from Mangalore I could see some of the  known sisters and teachers honoured on the occasion of teachers'' day.  Teaching - Profession seems to be very easy ! But it is full of challenges and responsibilities. Glad to see Fr. Wilson taking initiative to honour teachers at occasion like this. HAPPY TEACHERS'' DAY.
